my bananas are now steel..

I recently joined the “post-pomo arts & culture zine” Steel Bananas as their photo editor.

Steel Bananas is a new, up-and-coming Toronto Arts/Culture zine – or online magazine, for those who are not so trendy – aimed to explore “the arts and contemporary urban culture from creative Canadian perspectives.” What makes Steel Bananas so unique is that it is essentially all collaborative. Most, if not all of the contributors are all young writers and artists – most still college or university students – working in their spare time to contribute to this amazing project.

I’m really excited about this new position and I can’t wait to get my lens into the Toronto art scene.
