CMW ROUND UP.

I hung out downtown last Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday night for this year’s Canadian Music Week. Despite all the rain, the cold, being sick, and the occasional lack of media access, it was still a great week. The highlight for me was definitely my saturday night. It started off with a let down after not getting into see Joel Plaskett, but finished off with discovering The Balconies and Yukon Blonde at the Horseshoe Tavern, seeing Rich Aucoin rock the shit out of the Rivoli, and finally with yacht funk-guru Hemingway spinning an amazing show at Wrong Bar.
