Not polygamy: calling all brides.

Carlsburg—probably the best beer in the world, heh—is having a contest to throw one lucky couple a $100,000 wedding in October. The contest is coincidentally called The Big Wedding Bash. To promote the self-proclaimed biggest party in the city, Carlsburg took over BMO Field during half-time at last saturday’s TFC game for a good’ol running of the brides. The event started at the Foggy Dew, and then onto the Brazen Head and finally BMO Field where 5 brides and one groom promoted the contest. Once halftime arrived, the brides made their way to field level where they set up on either end of the pitch. The Groom and official braced themselves at the center-line, waiting for a bridal brawl as 10 brides charged to be the first one to meet groom. Good family fun.
