Oh boy, what a lovely sunset+outtakes.
I met up with Alex and Steph for an engagement session tonight at Richard’s memorial park in Mississauga. We started at quarter to 8 and shot until we were out of visible light.
I used a SB-900 on a VOL with shoot through umbrella, and an SB-600 on camera for on-axis fill. My cactus V4s are starting to act up on me and after a year of steady use are starting to become unreliable. I’m getting approximately 70% success rate, and as I’m starting to shoot professionally, this is becoming unacceptable. My backup plan has been to just use the SB-600 on camera as a master and slave the SB-900 but this will not always work. I am beginning to think I’m going to have to invest in some pocket wizards.I’ve got a big commercial shoot on thursday, and I don’t know if I can rely on what I have.
Anyways, here is a quick selection with some outtakes from tonight’s shoot—havn’t really processed them much. Naturally, more to follow.
