Building a loft bed, pt.1.

For my new tiny apartment, I’ve decided that building a loft bed is the best way to go about using my space efficiently. Thanks to the fine folks at Simplified Building, and a little bit of plywood, I should (emphasis on should) have a wonderfully usable loft bed. The bed platform and walls are made out of 3/4″ spruce plywood which I will be painting, and the bed frame will be made out of 1 1/4″ schedule 40 galvanized pipe.

Here are some pictures from part one of the construction. My apologies on the shitty iPhone camera—it sure does suck in low light!
